MONROVIA, CA (September 13, 1999) - ParaSoft, leading provider of software error prevention and error detection solutions, announced today that they will host a half day seminar entitled "Debugging the Software Development Process," on Tuesday September 21, 1999 from 1:00 to 5:00 PM at the Hyatt Rickeys Hotel in Palo Alto, CA.

For over ten years, ParaSoft has been committed to providing solutions for improving the software development process. They have developed several solutions, including automated tools and informative seminars, to assist in finding and preventing software bugs in C, C++ and Java programs.

ParaSoft recognizes that the need for a streamlined development process has never been greater. A recent Microsoft study found that it takes the average developer approximately 12 hours to find and fix a common software bug. In some cases 50 percent of a project’s development time is spent searching for and finding bugs. This is something that ParaSoft aims to change.

The main objective of ParaSoft's seminar is to assist development managers and senior software developers to prevent and eliminate errors, increase their productivity, save time spent debugging, reduce development costs and improve the overall quality of the software they produce.
